Bald is beautiful?!
My hair was just coming out in handfuls on Monday. So that night it was too much for Jake and I so I helped him shave his head and he shaved my head. He's a good sport. WE were both cold sleeping that first night. I'll have to take a pic of us bald for the blog. Since then I have gotten another wig from the National Cancer Society, learned to tie the scarfs and tried on a lot of hats. It's been an adjustment my new look but, this too shall pass in 8 or so months. I feel grateful that chemo should cure me and give me many, many years of life.

ReplyDeleteHey Kathy, just letting u know am thinking about you and keeping you and your family in my prayers. My dad is still healthy and strong and a clear testament of answered prayers. Here's another "Wow, you're Amazing!" maybe it's not clear to you but it sure is to the rest of us. Hugs/kisses!
ReplyDeletebald is beautiful! each time i see someone who has lost their hair I immediatly notice the beauty that is beaming from their outside in. It helps me to notice other great things about them. And for you I know everyone will say that it's your beautiful smile! We love you Kathy!
