Hi this is Kathy's sister, Michelle. We are starting this blog for Kathy so all of us who love her and pray for her can "keep up with Kathy". As she starts her chemo treatments, she might not be able to take calls and visits, so leave a comment and she can check it and feel the love!!!

Reality Check.

Saturday, day 5 since chemo. Yesterday was tough. Couldn't hardly get my head off the pillow. Stephanie my friend says these are the days when your body is killing cancer cells. The fatigue finally hit and it hit hard. I felt pretty helpless, not a feeling anyone likes. I didn't deal with it very well emotionally either, called Jake at work crying and told him he needed to come home and help with the kids 'cause I hadn't done anything for them all day. My good friends and neighbors came to my rescue and my great husband came home to hold me.

I'm having those leg aches, my friend was asking me if they felt like those growing pains you have as a kid. They definately feel something like that only magnified at this moment. :)

Haven't cut off my hair yet.

  2. Hidy Hoe to my wonderful sister in law(sister). I am back on the bandwagon and have the net once again. I am excited to b able to watch/read the happenings of your life now! I love you! I pray for you many times a day. Lucas always reminds whoever is called to give the prayer (morning, meal, night, safe journey, etc.) to rememeber aunt kathy! Thank you for writing a blog we can follow. I know phone calls can be tuff and very repetitive, which is why i try to keep to letters. You are a strong beautiful woman that i admire so much! Keep us posted and know we are thinking of you!! XXOOxxxooo Joe Amanda & Boys
